Since I moved to Manchester fairly recently, I’ve been keen to try more of the city’s restaurants.  It’s an exciting time for Manchester right now, with so many new bars and restaurants popping up.  20 Stories was one place in particular that I had on my list, after hearing so many good reviews since it opened its doors last year.  I’d been to 20 Stories a few times for cocktails, so I couldn’t wait to try the food.

One of the great things about 20 Stories is that you can take in the beautiful floor-to-ceiling views of Manchester over your dinner and drinks. We had a late dinner and the city views were beautiful.

I love how they have incorporated Manchester’s heritage into the menu and overall experience – it’s a lovely touch and makes the dining experience all the more unique.

We had the scallops to start.  They were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection.  The food came out swiftly quickly, and the staff were very attentive.

For mains, we had the sole, which again was melt-in-the-mouth and cooked to perfection.  The cocktails were wonderful too, albeit huge.  I couldn’t finish mine!

We had a lovely night – I would highly recommend checking out 20 Stories if you have not already.  From the views to the food and the buzzing vibe – it’s a great place to be.
